In the course of research carried out psychohygienic assessment the severity of asthenic and depressive states of the students and identify the most significant trends of the dynamic changes in natural conditions of study in a medical higher educational institutions. The data showed a fairly high level of expression of asthenic manifestations, the average level of which the youth very close to the values on the verge of quantities characterizing respectively the absence of symptoms of fatigue and low level of its severity, the girls – was higher and it corresponds to the values characteristic for the weak asthenia, and also noted the presence of quite divergent trends with respect to formation of in-dicators of asthenic manifestations: the youth the level of fatigue during the period of training in med-ical higher educational institutions increased gradually, girls, on the contrary, gradually decreased. The research results were determined, and a fairly high level of depressive symptoms, the average of which in most cases almost very close to the values that are on the verge of quantities characterizing respectively the absence of depressive phenomena and the presence of mild depression situational or neurotic genesis and in the first-year students was higher and correspond to the values characteristic for mild depression, and noted the presence of quite divergent trends with respect to formation of in-dicators of asthenic manifestations: the youth the level of fatigue during the period of training in med-ical schools gradually decreased, the girls – had a wavy character with the achievement of maximum in the third-year students.
