SUMMÀRY:
The purpose of research – detection features of the spatial distribution of the CO2 fossil fuel emissions caused by motor vehicles in the annual vegetation near major highways in Kiev, according to the terrain and to analyze the possibility of using 14C as a marker for the assessment of environ-mental pollution.
It is shown that the study of the accumulation of 14C annual vegetation is promising from the point of view of the CO2 emissions from facilities using fossil fuels in large cities, industrial centers and other urban areas.
