SUMMÀRY:
The Objective: gross and fine motor skills evaluation in pre-school age children in the training dynamic.
Methods. There has been carried out the psychomotor system research in 159 pre-school age children (86 boys and 73 girls) in Kyiv. The hands` fine motor skills were evaluated based on the N.Ozeretskiy test. The gross motor skills (coordination and poising abilities) were evaluated based on the result of two tests that determined the functional state level of central nervous and musculoskeletal systems: «Jump rope» òà «Tree». Hygienic and statistical methods were used.
Results. It is found that many of 6-year-olds (29.2% for the "Tree"-test and 66.1% for the “Jump rope” – test) have a low level of coordination in terms of gross motor skills, which means that organism is not ready enough for the systematic study at school and there is need to develop a specif-ic developmental programs for the late pre-school groups.
As the Ozeretskiy test has shown, only (22,5%) of children is ready for school, as a result of insufficient level of visual-motor coordination, volition manifestation, lack of hand muscle physical readiness.
