There was studied the state of physical development of the children of preschool age of city of Lviv and rural area of Lviv region. There was stated that normal physical development in average have 72,4% of boys and 70,0% of girls of city of Lviv and 70,6% of boys and 72,6% of girls of rural area. The largest percentage of deviation from normal physical development refers to I grade over and underweight. Rural children have lower hight than their Lviv city peers by 0,5-1,7 cm (boys) and 0,7-2,0 cm (girls) and smaller body weight by 0,4-0,7 kg boys and 0,4-0,8 kg girls accordingly.
