SUMMÀRY:
Mechanism of sorbtion of radioactive cesium and strontium by glauconitolite, taken from Adamivsk deposit of Khmelnitsky region (Technical specifications U 03772476.001-2001), is that cesium and strontium according to principle of isomorphis substitution fill up structural positions of glauconito-lite, taken by calcium and potassium. Degree of sorbtion is 84,7-97% for cesium-137 and 20-65,2% for strontium-90. Proposed method can be realized for resoil in case of radionuclide contamination and for neutralization of underground and superficial water.
