SUMMÀRY:
The article includes research results of scientific and practical works in the field of settle-ments’ planning hygiene in different periods of its becoming a science. In the article it is described about the devoted selfless labor of doctors-hygienists that created good in spite of social and political shocks and events in area of public health.
